Behaviour Consultations
If you are struggling with any of your dog's behaviour problems, please get in touch for help. Together we can work to find out why your dog is practising the behaviour, and develop a behaviour and training plan to improve their behaviour.

Dog Behaviour Consultations
Working with me - consultation options:
Option One (£390)
(Covered by most insurers)
A 2-3 hour behaviour consultation with one follow up session to make sure that you're on track with the training. This includes:
- Review of your dog's behaviour form, videos and medical history
- Initial 2-3 hour consultation(
- Detailed behaviour & training plan, training guides and training videos
- One hour follow up session
- All liaison with your vet
- Support between the consultation and follow up via WhatsApp or Email
In the initial 2-3 hour consultation we'll go through your dog’s history, health and behaviour. I'll explain the emotions behind the behaviour and what is motivating your dog to perform the behaviour. Then we'll go through the management and training. Within one week, I'll send over your dog's behaviour report and detailed training plan with training guides and videos for you to work through.
After a few weeks, or whenever you feel you need it, we can have an hour's catch up to see how it's going and make any changes to the training plan as needed.
Option Two (£590)
(Covered by most insurers)
As Option One, but with three months of follow up sessions - as many video call follow ups as needed and monthly in person visits.
- Review of your dog's behaviour form, videos and medical history
- Initial 2-3 hour consultation
- Detailed behaviour & training plan, training guides and training videos
- As many video call follow ups as needed
- Monthly in person visits
- All liaison with your vet
- Ongoing support via WhatsApp or Email
This option may be required for complicated cases with more than one behaviour problem or potential medical issues involving vet liaison.
You’ll have my full support as much as you need it for the full 3 months with an option for follow on for another 3 months for £250.
Home visits are part of my behaviour packages as it's important to see your pet in their home environment. However, if you live more than 40 minutes from Spalding, there may be a travel charge of up to £50.
Pet Insurance
Cover
Because I'm an ABTC-registered Clinical Animal Behaviourist & a full APBC member, behaviour consultations are usually covered by your insurance provider. Always check your policy details.
Behaviour Form
If you sign up to a behaviour consultation package, I will ask you to fill in a pre-consultation behaviour form. This helps to provide me with background information and means I won't have to ask so many questions in the consultation.
Vet Referral Form
In order to provide high standards of care and training, I only see cases on vet referral (as per the code of conduct for ABTC). Please ask your vet to complete the following referrla form.
"Rachel was an immense help with our young shadow chasing border collie. She is non-judgemental, kind, positive, and has the dogs welfare as an absolute priority whilst also being realistic about the owners lifestyle and ability. Rachel has a wealth of behavioural knowledge, backed by qualifications, and is great at transferring this knowledge into simple terms for us owners.
I would urge anyone in the same boat to give Rachel a call/message. Worth every penny!"
